Osteoporosis Nutrition

Bone Health Dietitians

We help women with osteoporosis or osteopenia understand why their bones are weakening and what to do about it. Our program goes beyond generic advice of just taking calcium or vitamin D, and gives you steps you can take regardless of whether or not you determine osteoporosis medications are right for you. We’ll dive deep into nutrition and look at the whole body, covering topics like gut health, hormones, strength training, and nervous system support.

Face the future with confidence and strength.

You deserve to feel strong, steady, and supported, not uncertain or afraid. Bone loss isn’t random—it’s a message from your body that something deeper needs attention. With the right information and a clear plan, you can improve your bone density, boost energy and balance, and feel resilient in your body again.

Our hope for you is simple: that you will be able to walk with ease, be able to play with your grandkids, travel freely, and maintain your independence for years to come.

Our Services

The Nourished Bones Method

A comprehensive bone health program that blends nutrition, lifestyle, and lab insights to help you take a proactive approach to your bone health. This program goes beyond standard recommendations, pairing real-time lab results with education that empowers you to truly understand what your body needs. We will help you make sense of your DEXA or REMS results, and go deeper than surface-level advice. We’ll look beyond calcium and vitamin D to explore how protein, minerals, and other key nutrients work together to support bone remodeling and repair. You’ll learn how nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress all intersect to build stronger, more resilient bones from the inside out. Using an in-depth, bone-focused lab panel that extends beyond the typical annual labs, we’ll help you interpret your results and compare them to optimal ranges, uncovering insights that can guide you toward long-term bone strength and whole-body wellness.

A la Carte Bone Monitoring labs

Monitor your bone health every 3–6 months with key bone turnover markers, CTX and P1NP. These markers provide early insight into how your bones are responding to your nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle efforts, giving you real-time feedback long before changes appear on a bone scan. Regular monitoring can help you fine-tune your approach, stay encouraged, and feel confident that your hard work is paying off. No more waiting years for answers or holding your breath until your next DEXA scan.
